Huang, Anpeng (M’05) received his M.S. degree from the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China in July 2000, and his Ph.D. degree from Peking University, China, in June 2003. From July 2003 to April 2004, he was an advanced engineer at Zhongxing Telecommunication Equipment (ZTE) Corporation in China. From May 2004 to January 2005, he was a visiting scholar at the University of Waterloo, Canada. From February 2005 to March 2008, he was a post-doctoral researcher in the Department of Computer Science at the University of California, Davis (UC Davis), United States. Since November 2007, he has been an associate professor in the State Key Laboratory of Advanced Optical Communication Systems & Networks, Wireless Communications Lab, and PKU-UCLA Joint Research Institute at Peking University (PKU), China. His expert research include health big data, mobile health, mobile networks, and optical networks. He has more than 70 journal and conference papers, and is the holder of 10 sole-inventor US patents. He was and is the PIs of central government and other projects with the total amount of 2 million US dollars.
